Day 1: Alexandria
Morning:
Arrival at Alexandria Port: Your tour guide will meet you at the port for the day’s tour.
Visit the Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina): Explore the iconic modern library, a homage to the ancient Library of Alexandria, and enjoy the exhibits and views over the Mediterranean.
Late Morning:
Qaitbay Citadel: Head to this historical citadel, located on the Mediterranean coast, built on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Lunch: Have a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant along the Mediterranean.
Afternoon:
Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: Discover this ancient necropolis, a fascinating mix of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman influences.
Late Afternoon:
Drop-off at Alexandria Port: Return to the port for your evening departure.
Day 2: Cairo and Giza
Morning:
Pick-up from Alexandria Port: Your guide will meet you at Alexandria Port for the drive to Cairo (about a 2-2.5 hour drive).
Visit the Giza Pyramids Complex: Explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with the Sphinx. You can even take a camel ride for an enhanced experience.
Lunch: Enjoy a traditional lunch with a view of the pyramids, in one of the restaurants nearby.
Afternoon:
Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Head to the GEM, which houses the world’s most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Don’t miss the treasures of Tutankhamun, including his iconic gold mask.
Late Afternoon:
Return to Alexandria Port: After your tour, you'll be driven back to the port
